Born, raised and educated in New York City, I spent my formative years (whatever that means) in Berlin, Germany. A year ago, I returned home, and settled in the beautiful, diverse Queens neighborhood of Jackson Heights, where I set about rooting out fascinating stories and delicious things to eat.

I’ve recently published in the New York Times, the Atlantic, and Edible Queens, and I updated the most recent edition of Fodor’s guide to New York City. I work with a vast swathe of corporate clients, both independently and through digital agencies. For Enveritas Group, I act as writer and editor for a number of Google projects, including Google Maps, Google Trips, and Google Experiences. Through Liganova Studios, I work with German brands like Hugo Boss and Mercedes Benz. I’ve also written and provided SEO and branded content for major hotel chains like Holiday Inn, Marriott, and Intercontinental.

My Contently portfolio provides an overview of my work. For links to books I've written or contributed to, please see my Books page. Take a look at the Galleries page for samples of my photography.
